| The
tiered pool deck area is neat, as are the multi-deck aft sun terraces.
In 1998 this ship underwent an operation called a "stretch and chop"
which added a completely new mid-section, including 251 new passenger
cabins, new or enlarged public rooms, and a 60-seat conference center.
Some innovative features were incorporated in the original design
and these have been kept and enhanced. The pastel interior color scheme
is soothing, and she is considered to be a pretty ship inside. This
ship has proven to be highly successful, providing a good alternative
to the larger mega-ships, although there are plenty of other passengers
to keep you company. Unfortunately, when the ship was "stretched"
it reduced the amount of outdoor space per passenger, and this is
reflected in more density around the pools. There are simply not enough
public rooms to absorb the increase in passengers |
