| The
Pacific Princess is exquisitely decorated and perfect for a relaxing
cruise vacation. The vessel features the "new-style" exterior
found on most of the newer cruise ships, with most of the rooms on
the outside, many of them with private balconies. When fully occupied
the ship caries 688 passengers. With a crew of over 370, this makes
for a good staff to passenger ratio and increases the "pampering
factor". The ship has an elegant English country ambiance, and gives you a peaceful, relaxing sensation as you wander around the decks.There are two sets of elevators and stairs located forward and aft on the ship. On Deck 4 are located the reception area, shore excursion center, medical center, and some outside staterooms. Deck 5 is the center of most activity on the ship with the Club Restaurant and Bar, Cabaret Lounge, casino and casino bar, and shopping and photo gallery located on this deck. Deck 9 is the "Relaxation Deck", and includes the pool, pool bar, computer room, card room, fitness facility, spa, and Panorama Buffet. Deck 10 features the horizons sports bar with its wonderful view, the walking track, and the two specialty restaurants, the Italian Restaurant and the Grill. The staterooms are spacious, with plenty of storage space. They have a queen-sized bed that can be turned into twins and a small armchair. Some rooms include a loveseat. The balcony comes equipped with two plastic chairs and a small table, and is perfect for watching the world go by. The pool deck has chaise lounges, a pool, and two hot tub spas. One deck up is the walking track. There is a bar at the pool that serves drinks all day and free ice cream during the "tea time" each afternoon. There is also a barbeque area at the pool that serves hamburgers, etc. The Panorama Buffet goes across the stern of the ship and is also right off the pool. It serves the same foods as the Club Restaurant, only in buffet style. |
