Orient
Lines specializes in providing destination-oriented cruise vacations
to the most exciting and exotic corners of the globe. Every Orient
Line cruise itinerary is designed as a complete cruise-tour, which
means that first-class or deluxe hotel stays are included in major
cities, like Athens, Sydney and Singapore before and after your cruise.
And so are city sightseeing tours, transfers, baggage handling and
a hospitality staff to assist you in finding the best restaurants,
sights and shops. Extra benefits like these have earned Orient Cruise
Line the "Best Cruise Value" and Best Itineraries"
awards from the World Ocean & Cruise Liner Society
The
"four-star" Orient Cruise Line represents the mass market
segment of the cruise business. Although these cruise lines consist
primarily of large ship operators, Orient Lines, which operates two
ships the largest of which is 39000 tons, is the exception. They are
older ships but well maintained with a high degree of comfort especially
on the Crown Odyssey, one of our favorite ships when she was new.
Inclusive pricing, great destinations are the hall marks of Orent
Lines.
A
four-star cruise is for the traveler addicted to a high level of activity.

The
Orient fleet has two ships both of which are older.
The
Crown Odyssey is a nice intimate ship formerly owned by Olympic Cruise
Lines. In those days it was a favorite of ours due to its small size
and class. The Marco Polo is still older, but due to its strengthened
hull it is suitable for cruising in the polar regions. Both ships
however concentrate on interesting itineraries. |
